Guilt. Guilt. Guilt.
I am tormented by my own guilt, of all the murders My Lord has committed. I am always seeing blood stains on my hands, the blood of Duncan, and many others who were killed with neither rhyme nor reason. All this crimes that have been committed to cover up for other crimes. It will never end.

I cannot take this torture any longer. Shame on you Macbeth, shame on you. There's no point of living anymore. I do not wish to go to Hell. There is only darkness, but what's the difference between there and now?

So many murders have happened of late. So many crimes committed...
Macduff's castle has been attacked, taken by surprise, from what I heard. Every single living thing was brutally murdered, even the servants and the animals. Strangely enough, Macduff was not at home.

Macbeth arouses suspicion, as though he is the culprit. I am unsure; he seems a changed man. He dared not kill Duncan, an old man, only a few months back. Now he is no longer a coward, but he has become so vastly different. The crown is his most important possession, almost an obsession for power. I no longer understand him as I did before. We are drifting apart...

Good grief! Banquo has died, and his Fleance missing. Is this what Macbeth had been hinting to me that day? Has he got anything to do with the killing? Banquo was his greatest friend, the ally who fought alongside him through countless battles, I doubt that he would kill him. Yet I fear that I may be wrong. There is nothing he cannot do now that he is King.

HOW DARE HE. I am talking about Macbeth. His behavior at the banquet disrupted the whole event. He was seemingly talking to something that nobody can see, like a ghost. He totally ruined everything. What would people think seeing that their King is emotional unstable? Something is really disturbing him; he is really agitated these days.

Macbeth ought not to worry unduly. What's done cannot be undone. We are already the King and Queen of Scotland, what is there to worry about? He is just being paranoid.

Something does not seem right between him and Banquo. He is starting to fear Banquo and his son, Fleance, for some strange reason. He confides in me, and seems to be hinting that something terrible is going to happen to both father and son.

What a sweet chain of events has happened. After Duncan's death, the King's sons also flee. They have done us such favor. Not only did they take the blame, but they also spared us the dirty work of killing them as well!

Macbeth has gone to Scone to be crowned the new King, for he is the highest after Malcolm and Donalbain. I am finally going to be Queen!

Alas! Duncan is dead. The blame has been put on the attendants and they shall speak no more for Macbeth has silenced them. We are not suspected to have anything to do with the murder. Malcolm and Donalbain have fled the country after knowing that their father died, and they are being named the masterminds of the brutal killing.

Now the path to the throne is clear. Nothing shall stand in our way of becoming King and Queen of Scotland.

Macbeth is such a coward. However, he falls easily to my TAUNTS. He shall kill Duncan, and with the attendants' daggers. After the deed is done he must place the weapons beside the servants so as to frame them of a crime they did not commit. They will not awaken till dawn as I have drugged their drinks. The plan is perfect.

HAH! Duncan that gullible old fool; his age is catching up with him. He is still as trusting as ever, has he not learned his lesson? Cawdor had betrayed him once, now Cawdor shall betray him again. Such irony. If all goes well, the crown shall be ours to take. The foolish old man, he does not suspect a thing. One of his most trusted generals would soon betray him. By the time he learns his lesson, it will be all over...

What good luck! Macbeth has been promoted to Thane of Cawdor. This was exactly what the Witches prophesied, but the best is yet to come. They had also predicted that Macbeth would become the future king. Macbeth is ambitious, but i fear he is too full of natural human goodness to catch the nearest way.

No matter, I shall persuade him to do whatever is required to seize the crown. Hurry back, My Lord, so I can influence you with my ruthlessness. My arguments will beat down everything that stands between Macbeth and the throne.

We interviewed some people to find out their reactions to Duncan's death.....

We have interviewed one of the Thanes,to find out his reaction:

My good sir, how are you today and most importantly and how do you feel about the death of King Duncan?

OH! I feel really fine today thank you for your concern. It was a very big shock to me. Nobody knew that his highness was going to be murdered! ( Spoken with a lot of anger ) He was a good king, Very honest and firm. His heart was with Scotland, and not anywhere else. Even as king, he was very humble, and the people respected him a lot. In my opinion , the only reason of his murder was that the guard was a spy or assassin from another country, and he was sent to kill our precious and wise King.",replied one of the thanes in anger. ( was a bit scared to speak to him afterwards )

We also interviewed members of his family, who was sobbing uncontrollably as we entered the room to interviewed them......

We are sorry to hear about the murder of King Duncan, but we want to hear your views...

Why must Duncan be murdered!! He was a good man. A family man. Even though there was war , He made us feel safe........he also spent time with the family, no matter how busy he was. For years he has ruled Scotland well, bringing it to greater heights. We all cannot bear to see him leave so early, he still had a lot to do as our King......."said his family, who was sobbing the whole time while we were interviewing them......

The last of which we interviewed were the people of Scotland....

He was a good king. One that always does his best for the country.All respected him as he is the one that protects us from being invaded. That guard who murdered him will come to no good end! "King Duncan will always be in the people's heart. My fellowman and I are wary of the next king. We hope that he will be as good as King Duncan and bring Scotland into greater glory.",said Balthazar , one of the villagers.

As we left the place, we could not help to think that the death of King of Scotland, Duncan has brought so much sadness and sorrow to its people. With the death of Duncan,it also brings a new king to the throne. King Duncan will forever be in the peoples hearts.....

So, King Macbeth, this title of yours sure came unexpected. How do you feel about being King of Scotland? Was it tough for you to accept the post?

It is a great regret that our previous ruler, King Duncan, has passed on. In my opinion, he did a wonderful job of governing the country. But well, of course I'll do my best (sniggers inwardly) to make the Scottish happy. I have an aim to make Scotland the best country in the world to live in. And yes, of course it was tough. There's so much to consider! And I'm new to the whole king thing so... yeah. Anything else?

Have you ever wondered how life as a king would be like before this?

(clears throat) Of course not! That's outrageous! How dare you...

What're some traits you think every good ruler should have?

Good question. Well I believe wisdom, honesty, pragmatism and decisiveness are some assets every good ruler should have.

Do you think you have these traits?

(thinks hard) Well of course... I am trying to cultivate these characteristics. But it is important to get the fundamentals right.

So what can we expect future Scotland to be like?

It is going to be a.. (hesitates) wonderful, peaceful country with a competent ruler. (smiles proudly)
